Nancy Pelosi is Washington D.C.’s resident train wreck, never failing to remind us that the most powerful Democrat in Congress is a confused dingbat. Case in point: this morning, Nancy Pelosi forgot who the President is. AGAIN. And it was caught on video. AGAIN.
While speaking to the press today, Pelosi once again forgot who the President is, referring to “President Bush” instead of “President Trump.” She somehow managed to completely forgot that there was a President Obama between the two, which may mean her senility is possibly racist as well.
Pelosi has a history of forgetting who the President is, in addition to making awkward and confusing statements. She forgot who the President was in a press conference a few months ago. Earlier this year, while discussing Obamacare, she said “if everyone has health, everyone is in the loop.” She once claimed Trump’s border wall would steal food from babies. She recently demanded for applause from a crowd she was giving a speech to. And then there was today.
“First, he tries to charm you,” Pelosi said of Trump. “President Bush tries to charm you. If that doesn’t work, he tries to bully you. If that doesn’t work, he walks away.”
One reporter interrupted to say “Trump” to correct her, but Pelosi ignored him.
A few minutes later, someone walked to the podium and handed her a note, apparently letting her know of the mistake.
“I said President Bush? I’m sorry, I meant to say—it’s hard for me to say it,” Pelosi said, evidently suggesting she did not want to say “President Trump.” “Poor President Bush. I apologize.”
On Feb. 6, Pelosi said shortly after Trump took office that she saw no part of the White House agenda that she could work with “President Bush” on.
In an interview on ABC’s “This Week” on April 30, she made the mistake again and apologized to Bush, joking she wished Bush was president again.
Watch the video, and be glad that this woman is still the leader of the Democratic party. Otherwise, a competent person could be in charge.
