President Trump Just Trolled His Critics With a ‘Game of Thrones’ Meme

The release of the Mueller Report today has set off anger and fury from Democrats, and jubilation from Republicans, including the President.

President Trump, who has proclaimed his innocence from day one of the investigation, took the time to tweet out a meme celebrating his vindication, and it had a “Game of Thrones” theme.

“No Collusion. No Obstruction. For The Haters And The Radical Left Democrats – GAME OVER,” the meme read, in “Game of Thrones” lettering.

HBO seem triggered by the meme, going out of their way to tell The Hollywood Reporter “Though we can understand the enthusiasm for Game of Thrones now that the final season has arrived, we still prefer our intellectual property not be used for political purposes.”

Meanwhile, even Donald Trump Jr. got in on the score-boarding on the Mueller Report, tweeting out “TOLD YA!”

It seems congressional Democrats are in no mood to try and pursue impeachment in light of the report. CNN Dana Bash tweeted out a statement she obtained from House Leader Steny Hoyer: “Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point. Very frankly, there is an election in 18 months and the American people will make a judgement.”

That triggered actor/director Jon Favreau, who has abandoned the “collusion” and “obstruction” talking points and is now pushing an “abuse of power” narrative.

“This is unbelievably disappointing,” the Iron Man director and star tweeted. “Even if you don’t ultimately pursue impeachment proceedings, why on Earth would you say this today?  Part of the American people making a judgment in 2020 requires a full account of the President’s criminality and abuse of power.”

Actor Jon Cryer (you read that right: Ducky from Pretty in Pink is commenting on politics) was furious over Hoyer’s statement. “Hello @LeaderHoyer, I’m deeply disturbed that you’ve decided to abdicate Congress’ duty of oversight. The Mueller Report has provided evidence of abundant, egregious abuses of power. There is more than enough to begin impeachment hearings. And you know it.”
