WATCH: GOP Senator Has a Perfect Response to a Protester [VID]

This week has been one continuous victory lap for Republicans, as the GOP celebrates the installation of Brett Kavanaugh as the newest associate justice of the United States Supreme Court after a contentious confirmation process.

Republicans also feel empowered against aggressive protesters who have been confronting them. GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana is showing that, as a new video proves.

If you think the Republicans aren’t feeling the momentum, allow us to remind you with this picture of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who had this reaction when a protester attempted to heckle him.

Cassidy was caught on video showing that new boldness.

A couple of protesters upset that Kavanaugh was confirmed tried to shame Sen. Bill Cassidy this week, over his support for the judge. They waited with their children in a capitol hallway for Cassidy to pass by, then ambushed him with camera in hand. If they were hoping to replicate the video that caught Jeff Flake in an elevator, it didn’t work out that way.

It didn’t work out.

The protester demanded Cassidy “apologize to my children for ruining their futures.”

Cassidy looks at the children and says “Guess what? I know your parents are using you as tools. In the future if somebody makes an allegation against you and there’s no proof for it, you’ll be OK.”

He then keeps walking, ignoring the screams of the protesters.

The video has proved so popular that someone even remixed it.

Cassidy himself has not yet commented on the video.
